Good Behaviors Part 2 - About Adults
GOOD BEHAVIOR – PART 2: ABOUT ADULTS
In my last blog, I spoke about how students should behave well in school and society. But today, I want to talk about the other side— adults. Because children learn from what they see, and adults are the first teachers in life.
👨👩👧👦 Parents
Parents must be role models. If they shout, fight, or ignore their children, the child learns that behavior is normal. Parents should:
- Speak kindly and respectfully at home
- Spend time with their children, not just give money
- Teach values like honesty, patience, and empathy
- Monitor what children watch and do online, without being too strict
🏫 Teachers
Teachers are like guiding stars. But sometimes, they lose patience or ignore students who struggle. A good teacher:
- Treats every student equally
- Encourages questions and curiosity
- Never insults or humiliates students
- Helps build confidence, not fear
🏢 Other Adults in Society
Whether it’s a shopkeeper, driver, or neighbor—every adult influences children. If they use bad language, cheat, or behave rudely, children copy them. Adults should:
- Be polite in public
- Avoid gossip and negativity
- Help others when possible
- Respect rules and laws
🌱 Why It Matters
If adults behave well, children will follow. A respectful adult creates a respectful child. And a respectful child becomes a responsible citizen. That’s how we build a better India.
I am still young, but I believe in goodness. I believe adults can change, and when they do, the whole country will rise.
Thank you 🙏
